Relationship between psychosocial risks and emotional disturbances in hospitalization areas

Abstract

Objective: to determine the relationship between psychosocial risks and emotional disorders in health personnel working in the hospitalization areas of the General Hospital Latacunga - Ecuador. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results: The conditions, quantity and rhythm of work with psychic anxiety, in 177 respondents there are no problems, in lesser amounts are manifested: subjective tension and irritability (30 respondents) and worry about little things (31 respondents); only five express their fears and sometimes or almost always are involved with the conditions, quantity and rhythm of work. Conclusion: Although with minimal values for all cases, traits of depression or anxiety are evidenced as an effect of the presence of several psychosocial risks such as conditions.
