Ejercicio físico como tratamiento integrativo en la calidad de vida del paciente con cáncer colorrectal

Objetivo: El objetivo general de la investigación describir el ejercicio físico como tratamiento integrativo en la calidad de vida del paciente con cáncer colorrectal. Método: El presente trabajo investigativo se desarrolló desde un enfoque cuantitativo con una metodología descriptiva con diseño no experimental, la cual se apoyó en el análisis documental–bibliográfico. Se ejecutó la búsqueda en las bases de datos PubMed y Epistemonikos. Resultados: La psiconeuroinmunología, una nueva rama de la medicina que se centra en explicar las relaciones entre el estrés, el funcionamiento mental, los componentes psicosociales-conductuales y los componentes fisiológicos-físicos. En conclusión: Los ejercicios físicos son factibles, además de seguros para los pacientes con CCR, incluso durante el tratamiento estándar. Las actividades físicas constituyen una estrategia importante que puede mejorar significativamente la CV de los pacientes con CCR, además de que es viable y seguro para los pacientes.
