Nursing intervention to reduce mental disorders

Objective: To analyze nursing intervention to reduce mental disorders. Method: Descriptive documentary, 15 scientific articles published in PubMed were reviewed. Conclusion: Non-pharmacological nursing interventions have been shown to be effective in the prevention and management of various mental disorders, improving the quality of life of patients in critical, geriatric and perinatal contexts. These interventions, ranging from music therapy to the use of assistive technologies, allow for a holistic approach, reduce dependence on pharmacological treatments and strengthen the emotional and physical well-being of patients.
