Abstract

Objective: To analyze the quality of health care provided to users, Julio Andrade Health Center, Ecuador. Methods: Descriptive observational study. The population consisted of 60 users of the Julio Andrade Health Center. Results: 33% stated that the treatment provided by the health center staff to users is neither satisfactory nor unsatisfactory; because it does not reflect humanization and comprehensive care for users, since the health personnel attends a large population and the service is saturated, which generates stress both for users and for the staff that attends this health center. Conclusion: The analysis of the quality of care at the Julio Andrade health center has revealed that, although there are strengths in communication and treatment of health personnel, there are still challenges related to waiting times, accessibility and infrastructure.
