Abstract

Objective: To describe the prevention and promotion of breast cancer in university students. Method: Descriptive documentary, 15 scientific articles published in PubMed were reviewed. Conclusion: Promotion of breast cancer prevention among university students is essential to increase knowledge and encourage preventive practices, such as breast self-examination. The reviewed studies demonstrate that educational interventions have a significant positive impact on improving knowledge and early detection practices, although barriers such as lack of information and fear of diagnosis persist.
