Abstract

Objective: To analyze the didelphic uterus in pregnant women. Method: Descriptive documentary, 15 articles published in PubMed, Scopus were reviewed. Conclusion: The didelphic uterus is a congenital uterine anomaly that, although relatively rare, presents important clinical challenges for pregnant women due to its high association with obstetric and perinatal complications, such as preterm delivery, malpresentation and higher rates of cesarean section. Early diagnosis and careful pregnancy planning are essential to minimize risks and optimize both maternal and neonatal outcomes.
