Impact of primary care on the mental health of patients with anxiety disorders

Objective: It was to analyze the impact of primary care on the mental health of patients with anxiety disorders. Method: It was based on the quantitative approach, resorting to the documentary-bibliographic typology, which allows the analysis of the object of study to be established. The design was of two types: descriptive and documentary. Results: Patients with chronic illness reported elevated levels of stress, anxiety and depression. Conclusion: Primary care is essential for the management of anxiety disorders, not only because of its accessibility, but also because of its ability to integrate mental health into general patient care. Improve the training of professionals and encourage collaboration between services.
