Abstract

Objective: to analyze the initial nursing approach in preeclamptic patients with signs of severity in emergency. Method: The research was carried out by means of a bibliographic search in several databases containing quality scientific information. Results and Conclusion: The nursing staff attending patients presenting preeclampsia with signs of severity in emergency, should have special control with the appropriate practices to obtain accurate blood pressure values, in addition to understanding the importance of this monitoring and the continuous evaluation of the patient to identify complications.
