Abstract

Objective: determine the importance of nursing care in pregnant women with HELLP syndrome in the gynecology service. Method: Documentary descriptive. Results and Conclusion: The high incidence of HELLP syndrome together with the high rates of morbidity and mortality in both mothers and children impose the need for qualified follow-up during the prenatal period, in which the participation of nursing professionals plays an important role. in the care of the evolution of pregnancy, detecting possible symptoms of hypertensive problems in the patient and thus, working with obstetricians in order to timely identify the predisposing factors for the appearance and manifestation of specific hypertensive syndromes of pregnancy.
