Abstract

Objective: to analyze nursing care upon awakening of the patient undergoing invasive mechanical ventilation. Method: Documentary descriptive. Results and Conclusion: The complexity of the invasive mechanical ventilation and extubation process requires a different intervention from the nursing team that responds to it. s needs of each patient; Nursing research allows healthcare professionals to gain knowledge related to practice that empowers them to make more appropriate decisions be informed.
