Abstract

Objective: To analyze the knowledge of nursing care in stroke patients in critical areas. Method: Descriptive documentary. Results and Conclusion: The preparation allows nurses to develop the cognitive, procedural and behavioral skills to provide quality, effective, timely and safe care to stroke patients. The experiences that one has in a hospital after performing care in a stroke are necessary to use the roles that each one fulfills in the care, such as nurses and nursing assistants.
