Preventive and corrective measures for work stress management

Objective: to analyze preventive and corrective measures for the management of work stress. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results: A prevalence of emotional exhaustion was found in the described population (28.37%). A high level of depersonalization of 18.18% and a medium level of 77.27% were identified. Conclusion: Emotional fatigue, depersonalization and personal fulfillment as characteristics of Burnout syndrome 13 14 15 causing work stress require intervention and integral medical attention, which favor the health of the medical center staff. The three subscales of Burnout syndrome have a direct influence on the health and mood of the personnel working at the Health Center. The subscale of Personal Accomplishment Burnout is the one that most affects the health personnel, followed by Emotional Fatigue.
