Job stress and anxiety of health care workers during the covid 19 pandemic

Abstract

Objective: to determine the relationship between work stress and anxiety among health personnel of district 18D02 of Tunguragua - Ecuador during the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Descriptive observational. Results and Conclusion: In each of the work stress items, it was noted that the health personnel presented a moderate degree of stress reaching 65.3%, that is, 64 people. It is worth mentioning that the cross-check with the levels of anxiety found in this group that almost 28.7% presented mild anxiety, 28.7% presented moderate anxiety and 6%, equivalent to 6 people with severe anxiety. The panorama for health personnel with the constant health threats, working hours, few hours of rest make the health population find themselves in problems that can cause problems in the normal development of activities in public and private companies.
