Abstract

Objective: To determine the degree to which exposure to psychosocial health risk factors influences alcohol and cigarette consumption in government employees in the city of Quito - Ecuador. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results and Conclusion: People exposed to psychosocial health risk factors were more affected by alcohol and cigarette consumption.) On the other hand, the odds ratios allowed us to assert with 95% confidence that a high workload increases the consumption of liquor by up to 3.5 times.
