Prevalence of burnout syndrome related to resilience in teachers

Abstract

Objective: to determine the prevalence of Burnout syndrome associated with resilience in teachers of the Isabel de Godín Educational Unit in the city of Riobamba - Ecuador. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: With respect to personal fulfillment and satisfaction, there is a low correlation (0.27) and likewise we found a low correlation (0.28) between personal fulfillment and self-confidence, all these variables were p < 0.01 for all contrasts. Conclusion: It is determined that there is a complete relationship between SB and resilience mainly in teachers with more years of experience, greater responsibilities and work demands, resilience was associated in an important way and had statistically significant results related to SB in teachers of our educational unit under study.
