Abstract

Objective: to determine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the exposure of psychosocial risk factors in front line health personnel of the Hospital Básico Baños. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results and Conclusion: It was determined that the pandemic had a positive impact on 50% of the psychosocial risk factors (workload/rhythm, leadership, support/support and other important points) since they decreased their degree of exposure. While 37.5% of factors (development of competencies, scope of action/control and work organization) have maintained their situation, and the remaining 12.5% of factors (recovery) have increased their value, therefore, their effect is negative. On the other hand, when the Wilcoxon test inferential data analysis was performed, the alternate hypothesis was tested because the numerical level of the after is lower than that recorded before the pandemic, the significance scored below 0.05.
