Abstract

Objective: to determine the factors associated with musculoskeletal disorders in the health personnel of the Hospital Básico Dr. Eduardo Montenegro. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results: There is no association between the risk factors considered and presenting MSD. Conclusion: The results obtained from the study show that there is a need to implement an occupational health service in the hospital, which should adopt measures and strategies focused on promoting health at work through the application of active breaks, improve the furniture of the institution; it is also necessary to train the staff to control ergonomic risks and thus in the future reduce health costs and improve the ergonomic environment of health personnel.
