Nursing care in adult patients with septic shock

Objective: To analyze nursing care in adult patients with septic shock. Method: systemic review of 15 research papers. Results and conclusions: The main nursing care was based on vital signs, because all signs and symptoms of deterioration of the patient's hemodynamics should be taken into account, as well as the temperature, we should perform periodic controls and apply physical or pharmacotherapy to restore normal parameters, so the nursing professional should be trained to assess these signs and symptoms and to apply a correct nursing care based on the taxonomies of NANDA NOC and NIC as they allow us to perform the activities in an objective and systematized way.
