Nursing management of patients undergoing continuous renal replacement therapy

Objective: to analyze nursing management in patients undergoing continuous renal replacement therapy. Method: Documentary review. Results and conclusion: It has been identified that for the management of ARF in critically ill patients the CRRT is the most widely used worldwide, the studies carried out in various articles do not show a wide heterogeneity in variables such as the inclusion criteria or the time of initiation of CRRT, with the passage of time the modalities of dialysis therapy have advanced seeking the most appropriate method for the patient and we have the following modalities (UFVVLC, HFVVC, HDVVC or HDFVVC) and adjusting the dose of dialysis used have been shown to be at least as effective and safe as their alternatives.
