Objective: to interpret nursing care in the administration of sedo-analgesic drugs in patients who are under mechanical ventilation in an emergency. Method: Literature review of 15 articles published in PubMed with content analysis. Results and conclusion: the role of the nursing professional in the prevention of weakness acquired by pediatric patients in the intensive care unit and their rehabilitation. concluding that the current level of confidence shows the need for pediatric nursing. There is a connection between learned frailty in the ICU, research done largely for the elderly, and the material learned from the young, which is proportionately poorer.
