Abstract

Objective: to describe nursing care in patients with burns during the hospitalization process. Method: Documentary descriptive. Results and conclusion: The health professional in the nursing area does not focus his actions solely on medical support, the actions are aimed at making initial decisions, establishing differential diagnoses based on the needs of the patients. The adequate intervention based on the ABCDE scheme, will be the initial guideline of the nursing staff and added to this the following interventions aimed at maintaining vital signs, will contribute to an analysis of the patient's condition, of the temporary risks that they present, of possible complications and the large number of interventions, in order to establish more individualized actions for the patient, which contribute to a better recovery.
