Abstract

Objective: to analyze nursing care for patients with ischemic stroke who receive thrombolytic therapy. Method: Descriptive observational. Results: 29.3% know that the total dose of rt-PA is 0.9 mg/Kg of body weight, the initial dose is 10%, it would be administered in an initial bolus, but 31.7% in At this moment the process is wrong since the correct way to continue is, I do the initial bolus in one minute, assess for 5 minutes that there is no allergic reaction to the medication and proceed with the total infusion for one hour, confirmed by 43, 9% who always perform the procedure. Conclusion: The patient receiving thrombolytic therapy should be monitored, this will include (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and body temperature). Keeping a record (clinical history) to notify the specialist in charge of the procedure of any abnormality.
