Objective: To describe the management of care in obstetrics and gynecology: A comprehensive view. Methodology: The research was developed from the quantitative paradigm, also framed from a documentary-bibliographic design, through inquiry, collection and critical documentary analysis and bibliographic reference, based on the methodical, rigorous and deep exploration of various documentary sources such as scientific research, articles and refereed papers, theses, describing the findings found, allowing the development of the theoretical body in relation to the subject of study. Results: It is possible to observe the multiple factors that are considered by the women who come to the health care centers, for this reason they should be oriented in an integral way. In conclusion: The integration of care in obstetrics and gynecology is an action that will contribute to a better performance and development of the pregnant woman, both for her and the child, and her care and consultations should be carried out in an integral manner.
