Platelet-rich plasma mechanism of action, fc and its use in implant dentistry

Objective: To analyze the use of platelet-rich plasma, mechanism of action, fc and its use in implantology. Method: Clinical case in comparative patient between patient where Platelet Rich Plasma was applied vs. control patient. Conclusion: Thus proving that the material used as a filler serves to shorten the first phase of soft tissue healing. Unlike the case where plasma was not applied, this one presents lack of soft tissue closure. Taking into account that in the sample patient a considerable osteotomy was performed with respect to the control patient, in which there was no need for this procedure, there should have been a faster healing in the less traumatic case.
