Abstract

Objective: To analyze the risks of wound infection in post-surgical patients. Method: Descriptive observational. Conclusion: Nurses state that the priority care of surgical incisions is the administration of medications prescribed by doctors or specialists, such as antibiotics and analgesics, in order to combat microorganisms and pain from the inside of the body, which can be evidenced by 48%, and then change the dressing with the medical prescription, which is evidenced by 44% who agree.
