Abstract

Objective: To determine the causes and consequences that increased violence in women between 20 and 60 years of age, and to intervene from nursing education to educate the affected population and avoid increasing the social problem. Method: Descriptive observational. Conclusion: There are ways of preventing mistreatment of women to combat violence, it is important to know the causes and consequences to understand how it manifests itself, to identify it and to have tools to avoid being a victim of it, in this case education is a fundamental tool.
