Objective: To analyze the educational intervention on the prevention of early pregnancy in adolescents between 15 and 17 years of age attending the Gonzáles Suárez Health Center. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results: 60% of the adolescents already have an active sexual life, so it is important to give talks or brochures both in health centers and schools so that they can have a safe sexual life and do not run the risk of having a pregnancy at an early age. Conclusion: By diagnosing the situation we identified that the adolescents were unaware of the use of contraceptive methods, consequences that influence early pregnancy affecting their academic performance and their daily lives, in addition to raising awareness among young people to make good decisions in their sexual life with responsibility and not be affected in their adolescent stage.
