Protocols for the management of dental emergencies in times of COVID-19

Objective: To analyze the protocols for the management of dental emergencies in times of COVID-19. Method: Descriptive documentary review of 15 scientific articles located in PubMed, Scopus and WOS databases. Conclusion: The state of confinement established in several countries has restricted the routine attention of dentists and has established only the attention of dental emergencies, for this it is important to make an evaluation of the patient to consider a true emergency, this is done by means of telephone calls, video calls, photographs, with this it will be possible to establish an appointment to carry out the treatment following strictly the biosecurity protocols.
