Objective: To determine the Burnout syndrome experienced by students in the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth semesters of the Dentistry course at UNIANDES, who attend the Dental Care Unit, with exodontia, endodontia, surgery, dental surgery, periodontics and x-rays. Method: Descriptive observational study. Conclusion: It was possible to demonstrate that the students of the UNIANDES Dental Care Unit where the Maslach Burnout Inventory survey was applied, and who are in the seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth years of the dental career, have a greater probability of developing this syndrome. It should be noted that most of the students who took the survey showed anxiety, emotional and physical exhaustion, due to all the factors mentioned above.
