Abstract

Objective: To carry out a retrospective study of oral pathologies treated at the UNIANDES Dental Care Clinic. Methods: The clinical histories of patients between 20 and 96 years of age were reviewed. Conclusion: Dental caries is the pathology that most affects young adults, middle-aged adults and older adults attending the UNIANDES Dental Care Unit, followed by partial edentulism and chronic generalized periodontitis. There is a need to work on the promotion and prevention of oral health, since working on constant education will help not only to encourage patients, but also to reduce the high rate of these pathologies.
