Abstract

Objective: To analyze prenatal risk factors associated with infantile cerebral palsy. Methods: Review and analysis of clinical history. Results: Urinary tract infections were the most common with 22 cases (42 %), followed by vaginal bleeding with 9 cases (17 %), hypertensive disorders with 5 cases (9 %), and other infections with 5 cases (9.6 %). Conclusion: In the sociodemographic risk factors, the importance of adequate prenatal control in quantity and quality is considered, taking into account maternal and neonatal protocols and regulations in order to avoid infections in pregnancy that condition the development of PCI.
