Early diagnosis of drug use in adolescents

Objective: To make an early diagnosis of drug use in adolescents. Methods: Descriptive observational study. Results: 53% reflected problems with alcohol consumption, 49% showed the presence of psychological distress. Conclusion: A direct relationship has been found between the causes and factors related to drug use in adolescents, among the main ones are social factors such as alcoholic parents, close relatives who consume psychotropic substances, social circles with access to the sale and/or consumption of drugs, finding really alarming figures, since according to surveys the first contact with alcohol or other types of substances is at 11 years of age on average.
