Abstract

Objective: To analyze the level of work stress in teachers of the José Julián Andrade Educational Unit, in Ecuador, in 2020. Method: Descriptive observational study. Results: the psychoemotional symptoms dimension, since 85.71% of those evaluated presented low levels. Conclusion: there are high levels of stress, since the physiological symptoms resulting from this disease exceed half, as well as the intellectual and labor symptoms, which should be considered as a warning signal to take corrective measures and reduce the risk factors of stress in teachers, in order to ensure optimal and stress-free conditions, at least within the workstation, as this will enable higher performance and reduce the risk of teachers falling into chronic stress states and developing more complex diseases.
