Abstract

Objective: To determine the association of psychosocial risk factors that influence self-esteem in workers of the Santa María Goretti Educational Unit, in the year 2021. Method: descriptive observational study. Results: Work load and work rhythm with a bilateral significance P value = (0.553). Conclusion: They presented low self-esteem that does not have a statistically significant relationship with psychosocial risks, showing insecurity in relation to their abilities, both emotional and intellectual, which could affect their work performance. Low self-esteem in the respondents may be due to another triggering risk factor: upbringing, traumatic events, family environment, social difficulties, social exclusion, emotional disorder or at the same time the type of life they lead or present may be involved.
