Abstract

Objective: To analyze the clinical detection of COVID 19, psychosocial influence and anti-covid vaccines in the population of Riobamba. Methods: Observational descriptive study. Results: The respondents were tested for Covid-19, 38.9% mentioned that this was due to contact with the population at risk, and 27.8% as a result of a work requirement. Conclusion: The first emotional responses of people include extreme fear and uncertainty, symptoms of stress reported by the individuals investigated, generating these moods and behaviors that can be the guideline to problems in public mental health including reactions of distress (insomnia, anger, extreme fear of illness even in unexposed people), and of health risk behaviors such as increased use of alcohol, tobacco and social isolation.
