Objective: To obtain information on the most prevalent pathologies in the UNIANDES Dental Care Unit, the age group and gender most affected, the dental organs most affected and the dental procedures most frequently performed during the 9 semesters evaluated. Method: Observational, retrospective, cross-sectional study. Results and conclusion: Dental caries is the pathology that most affects young adults, middle-aged adults and older adults attending the UNIANDES Dental Care Unit, followed by partial edentulism and chronic generalized periodontitis. According to the results obtained in our study, there is a need to work on the promotion and prevention of oral health, since working on constant education will help not only to encourage patients, but also to reduce the high rate of these pathologies.
