Cuidados de enfermería en osteomielitis

Objetivo: Analizar los cuidados de enfermería en osteomielitis. Método: Descriptivo documental, se revisaron 15 artículos científicos publicados en PubMed. Conclusión: Los cuidados de enfermería desempeñan un rol indispensable en el manejo integral de la osteomielitis, abarcando desde la identificación temprana hasta la intervención terapéutica y el soporte educativo al paciente. La adecuada gestión de las heridas, el control estricto de los tratamientos antibióticos y la prevención de complicaciones como la sepsis son aspectos críticos en la atención de estos pacientes, la educación y el seguimiento continuo por parte del personal de enfermería son claves para minimizar las recaídas y mejorar la calidad de vida de quienes padecen esta condición.
