Prevención y promoción de cáncer de mama en estudiantes universitarios

Resumen

Objetivo: Describir la prevención y promoción de cáncer de mama en estudiantes universitarios. Método: Descriptivo documental, se revisaron 15 artículos científicos publicados en PubMed. Conclusión: La promoción de la prevención del cáncer de mama entre estudiantes universitarios es esencial para aumentar el conocimiento y fomentar prácticas preventivas, como el autoexamen de mama. Los estudios revisados demuestran que las intervenciones educativas tienen un impacto positivo significativo en la mejora del conocimiento y las prácticas de detección temprana, aunque persisten barreras como la falta de información y el miedo al diagnóstico.
