Prevention of periodontal diseases in young patients

Objective: The objective of this research is to analyze the prevalence of periodontal diseases in young patients, since it is one of the most common health complications in the population. Method: A descriptive and cross-sectional study was carried out, emphasizing the epidemiological aspects, in 45 patients who attended the consultation. Results and conclusions: The exploration was carried out through clinical histories and a survey to classify as descriptive, with the main objective of identifying the factors for which this variable occurs or occurs in young people, it was identified that a higher index is present. from the beginning of the eruption of the temporary teeth to their permanent teeth, with the objective of determining the relationship between oral hygiene and periodontal diseases in young people to determine the method for prevention.
