Design of a drinking water supply system

The research presented has the general objective of designing the drinking water supply system in the town of Bariro, Buchivacoa municipality in Falcón state. The research is of a non-experimental, field, descriptive design and feasible project modality. For data collection, the technique of observation, surveys and document analysis was used. The population was 2,500 inhabitants and a sample of 626 was selected. The results of the socio-sanitary survey, reflect that the conditions of the inhabitants of Bariro, are not optimal for the economic and social development of any population, this for a bad design in the water supply system and by the inexistence and instability of the few basic services they have. Proposal No. 2 was selected according to economic, social and time feasibility.
