Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of educational strategies among secondary school students through a systematic review. To this end, a qualitative documentary study was conducted, employing techniques such as systematic review and content analysis, as well as tools such as data sheets and analysis matrices; furthermore, the study followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, which led to the selection of 16 studies published between 2023 and 2026. The results revealed the following emerging categories: development of cognitive competencies, academic performance, metacognitive strategies, self-regulated learning, pedagogical innovation, digital transformation, and the role of teachers. In conclusion, it was found that educational strategies are more effective when implemented in an integrated manner, taking into account the specific characteristics of each educational setting, the needs of the students, and the professional role of each educator.
