Analysis of the factors influencing psycholinguistic development in children in early education

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze the current scientific literature on the main factors involved in the psycholinguistic development of children at the initial level, exploring their influence and practical implications within the educational and family context. As for the methodology, the PRISMA method was used, carrying out an analysis of the literature available in the Web of Science, Scopus and Scielo databases. A total of 185 articles were obtained from this analysis, and 18 were considered for the review, published between 2019 and 2025. The results showed that publications on psycholinguistic development have been increasing over the years and in various South American countries. As a conclusion, it was possible to confirm the approach of the factors in the children themselves as well as in the teachers and in the family.
