Eco-sustainable productivity at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela-Falcón

Abstract

The rescue of our identities becomes a way of appreciating the world that, in the task of productivity, acquires its own meaning at the Bolivarian University of Venezuela's Falcon campus. In this sense, productive practices based on knowledge prior to industrial processes, as guidelines for consolidating processes of identity, relevance, organization and training of the UBV Falcon community of an eco-sustainable nature, will enable us to sustain the food supply of the UBV Falcon community. The rescue of identities that guides the present experience is connected to what Juan José Bautista, in his work: What does it mean to think from Latin America? proposes in the rediscovery of identities as a necessary path to the decolonization of knowledge, from a transmodern vision of the world. The above mentioned, allows us to infer that the eco-sustainable productivity in the community of the UBV, seeks to identify knowledge and practices of their own, ancestral, that in the current context allow for new activities and knowledge that position us to food sovereignty from the original and identity.
