The fodder resource in the La Guadalupe production unit

The research developed is focused on the strategic area of agrifood security and sovereignty, as well as in the area of research concerning animal production systems. The general objective was to identify the current situation in relation to the condition of the forage resource in the production unit La Guadalupe. It was located in the positivist paradigm, with a quantitative approach. However, it corresponds to a descriptive transectional research design, field research type, descriptive level. The population consisted of 4 people, the owner of the farm and 3 employees; because it was finite, sampling was not used. The technique used was the survey, while the instrument was a closed questionnaire with several response alternatives. Conclusion The forage resource in the production unit presents a high loss of its productive capacity, evidenced in a poor condition that reflects a high amount of weeds and bare soil.
