Food supplementation alternatives of the goat herd diet

The objective of the present research was to evaluate alternatives of nutritional supplementation of the diet of the goat herd of the technological unit of extension and agricultural production. It was considered from the perspective of action research, which is composed as a practical and moral science, as well as a critical science. In each stage the people of the community were actively involved and the actors who participated played three roles at times; in the role of researcher acted as participant observer, in the role of member of the community as one more of the community, accompanying it in its aspirations and in the solvency of its needs and the role of promoter disseminating all the information. The total number of participants was 25 people. It is concluded that a good food management brings as a consequence an increase in the production of food of animal origin, contributing to the security and food sovereignty of the country.
