Analysis of women's rights and their protection in the Ecuadorian legislation

The general objective of the research was to make a legal analysis of women's rights and their protection in Ecuadorian legislation. The method used in the research was based on the quantitative approach. The research technique applied was the survey; the instrument was the questionnaire, which was applied to a group of 24 people. So that, with the expertise in the area, they provide information, generating an analytical-reflective process, contributing to the generation of the extension of the state of the art in correlation to the current scientific legal framework. It is concluded that, the legal measures taken for the benefit of women are not efficient, thus the fair need arises to aggravate the legal consequences or penalties established in situations of attacks against women, promoting gender equality and generating awareness that we are all equal, therefore, Ecuadorian citizens without any preference are obliged to comply and respect the rights and their obligations before the justice system of Ecuador.
