Corruption and public administration in Ecuador

Abstract

The general objective of the research was to legally analyze corruption and public administration in Ecuador. In addition, it was developed through the methodology, based on the quantitative approach, handling the documentary-bibliographic collection and analysis. A distinction was also made between the variables of studies referring to corruption and public administration in Ecuador. The analysis was made of the norms and laws applied in the Republic of Ecuador, as well as the review of refereed works and degree theses. This allowed the development of the theoretical body of the research. It is concluded that corruption has several effects which cause the political instability of the country, both social and economic, often threatening national security. In the path of corruption, several criminal groups, terrorists or certain subversive groups have been created that tend to attack the stability of the State and the social peace of the citizens.
