Objective: To analyze the processes that derive from nursing care in patients who are in critical condition within the intensive care area due to traumatic brain injury. Method: Documentary descriptive. Results and conclusion: The care provided by the nursing staff is basically focused on the maintenance of the airways in patients with traumatic brain injury and on the control and recording of saturation, ventilation and the corresponding monitoring of the level of consciousness in the patients. guided by the guidelines recorded in the specialized care protocols and guides.
